eh I bought mine back in august with a dual extruder (which I will probably roll back to single extruder whenever I get a work break)

was just curious as some of the new features interested me, but not enough for a completely new purchase atm. This thing is an amazing machine.

How does the independent dual extrusion work? How do the heads detach and reattach to the belt?

Yeah that looks weird. I don't understand the geometry of it transition from axial blower type fan to pointing at the nozzle.... it will be be interesting to see the files on that one.

I'm also actually surprised to still see a extruder fan on there... I still don't see what they are cooling with those. :?

Looks like they did away with the nuts on the underside of the top plate (top plate threaded now?) so you won't have to worry about the bed clip collision anymore. The z-stop bottom switch bracket looks like it also bolts to the z motor now too. Can't wait to see what some of the other changes might be.

is that a Raspberry Pi3 mounted to the base of machine now (to the left of the electronics box)? is that what the wireless feature is now, a built-in Raspberry pi running Octoprint?

hardware wise, the single extruder M3 looks near identical to the latest Rev.E M2 machines right?

Im getting on the list for an m3 idex, how do we get on the list for an m4 idex?

Will it be possible to run the heads at the same time on different parts (same design of course)? If not this would be a nice touch on a larger m4 with the space to print multiple parts at the same time.

Also looks like there is a new machined extruder drive?

Hard to tell from the limited pictures... I hope you guys implemented some of my design suggestions

They dont. There's 2 separate X belts and X steppers. One extruder is attached to 1 belt and the other extruder on the other belt.

I'll be in Pittsburgh tomorrow setting up for Rapid but I'll get more photos and answer your questions as soon as possible.
