Could you share your gcode for cube print you posted? I'm having some problems getting quality cubes and rather than chew up space here with stupid questions, I thought I might get a better handle on it with "known-to-be-good" code.
I'm a bit mystified about this, but printers don't all seem to be the same in the dark. I bought a Turnigy TinyBoy 18 months ago which proceeded to pour out pretty good prints from the start - first one, a cube was close to perfect, but with some warping of bottom. I fixed this by adding a heated bed, but no fan.
problem when something more or less works form start is you don't learn anything.
I could learn a lot from gcode which makes good prints on someone else's M2. BTW, the samples which came with mine all print beautifully.
