I'm new to being a phpBB admin...so if there is something set wrong or needs improvement...just let me know (and where to find the setting :)

Thanks,
Rick

Rick... Some suggestions for more categories:
1. Important information from MakerGear - all of the sticky topics you have on the Google Group such as the static electricity mod, Makergear product sales info, How to guide, etc... A section where only MakerGear can start topics. This might be a good place to list areas where MG would like the MG community to help with development in some way or another.
2. Printer modifications - basically a summary of any mods we've made to our printers including how and why.

Anybody know how to have the forum visually indicate whether there are new topics/replies that I haven't yet read? I'm used to other forums where newly added threads or threads with unread posts (from the perspective of the currently logged in user) show up in a different color or somehow highlighted. Since there is the option here to mark threads "read" I assume this must be possible but I'm not seeing it... Thanks,

-John

The forums and post icons have red details when something is unread. When all is read, they aren't red (hehe, say that out loud).

Here's a sample picture off google image search:

Ah, great! Thanks very much, I figured it had to be there somewhere.

rick, not sure if you can increase the attachment file size. its limited right now to 256k i think. so far i have not been able to attach a single picture even if i reduce the size of them and run em through photoshop. still too big. not sure if storage space is of a premium with this software...if it is then it can just be increased a little to accommodate some pictures. if its not then a bump in size for us to post stl files in the sharing section would be nice too.
