Printing Filament Drive
Printing Filament Drive
Filament drive has finally worn out. Are there recommended settings for fill, layer height, supports, etc?
Re: Printing Filament Drive
I printed mine from ePC and have been very happy with how they are holding up and the lack of creep on the tension screw.
Also, I print mine upside down from how he original parts were made. It reduces the amount of support and the internal surfaces print much cleaner. It requires a minor change or two on the model, if I recall.

Re: Printing Filament Drive
Just to buck it, I printed mine in 90% fill black HIPS. They're cheap and stiff, and I change them out about every 6 months (the plastic slowly creeps).

Thanks everyone. I'll have to see about picking up some ePC!
