About Simplify 3D version 4.0 and M2 Rev. E

Post by Expresso » Sat Oct 07, 2017 4:19 pm

Hello,

I currently use Simplify 3D version 3 and have been thinking of upgrading to Simplify 3D version 4. Before I go ahead with the upgrade, I was wondering if someone else has already upgraded to the new version and if they wouldn't mind sharing their experience with the new version.

If at all possible I would rather avoid upgrading if it means I have to fiddle around with the printer and other configuration issues. I would much prefer a plug and play experience free of issues. Specifically, I would like to know if Simplify 3D version 4 plays nice with the M2 Rev. E printer.

Thanks.

It’s fine. Not much else to say. It was not a life changing upgrade or anything like that.
I'm finally back to where I started two days ago!

A thread with some stuff in it I update every once in a while. viewtopic.php?f=8&t=9

I believe every time you do an upgrade of S3D it does a new install so the old version is still there too.
