Has anyone tired post production of PLA by media blasting the surface with plastic beads? I've finished several PLA prints that involved hours of dry sanding / wet sanding to achieve a slick surface for paint, but wondered if media blasting might reduce the overall sanding time.
Thanks in advance.

I haven’t tried it, but I do have an abrasive blast cabinet. It uses sand, not plastic though. I wonder what will happen. I suspect it will shred the print, but will try it on something.
In the meantime, you may want to try this. It works very well.
