Glass Pop

Guess it is worth fighting with the polymide tape.. PETG part cooled and released on it's own.. hear this cracking noise from the other room.. no cats around.. wth caused that noise.. took the part off and got my answer..

Wow,That PETG can really stick to the build surface. I have destroyed a PEI surface by starting too close to it.

there was a guide about printing PETG here somewhere and it warned to give more space for first layer as it is very sticky

It's all good, been printing petg for a long time but not on clean glass.. Normally have the glass covered with tape or glue stick.. lesson learned.. Going to try filling that chip with epoxy ..

That happened to me with a PLA print (about 1"x3" base) using just hair spray. The bed was a little over two years old and regularly flipped.
