Printing from SD card and pausing printer.

Post by markb » Mon Apr 21, 2014 9:54 pm

If I print from SD card can you pause the printer?
Do most people always print from SD card. If you don’t print from the SD card do you ever have issues with the data not getting to the printer fast enough and messing up the print?
I am just trying to figure out the best way to do things.

you should always print from the sd card. you can still pause the print. only time i dont use the sd is if its a small quick 10-30 min print. you normally wont have an issue with printing via usb but if you computer decides to start using the processor for some background process then the printer can freeze or not run smooth. its just a risk you dont need to take on a ling print.

I am using SD3 for printing. How do you pause the printing when printing from SD card?
I know the emergency stop works but the pause is grayed out.
