push plastic has a few exotic filaments out now. this one is an abs/nylon mix. i might give this a try. it seems very interesting.

there is another one with carbon nanotubes which seems really a specialty conductive item. they also have a special hips that is supposed to be extra sensitive to limonene

Re: new exotic filaments from push plastic
HIPS and conductive filament will have to wait for the dual extruder.
Hybrid Nylon/ABS could be good if it really combines the best of both as they claim. Combining the worst of both would be a disaster. I'm still waiting on the Polymakr Kickstarter. They got their funding (about twice over), and sent out forms today to all the contributors to specify preferences and give a mailing address. But I think it's likely that all their PLA-based filaments, no matter how unusual, are still going to have a low melting point, and that will always be an issue. Case in point, I printed a nameplate a few weeks ago and put a dent in it by bumping it with a hot coffee mug.
