Change colors, particulate grind colorant and how the filament is produced has a lot to do with success.

Below is the glow powder used to make master batch glow for injection molding:

Filament colorants must be a fine-fine powder and not the average run of the mill colorants I use
in my injection molding tools to make fishing tackle out of polycarb.

My M2 does not, or will not print glow without a bunch of messing around/fine tuning I do not
have to do with other colors. Going to order large nozzle sizes in .40 and .50mm, just haven't
had to time to get with Karen and place an order.

It if extrudes freely upon command, it should print if your head space .004-.005" is correct.
Take this measurement with the bed it warm/heated to temp to allow for expansion.
it goes without saying, bed temp for abs is 110C, so use a long feeler gauge and be extra
careful.

If you can push filament thru a heated to temp hotend disassembled end by hand, problems lay else
wheres, when junky inconsistent filament will drive you nuts. At least it has me.

I went to PET+ and have no grief, no warpage, no failed prints, stronger prints and no clogged hotends.
It cost more for a reason and is worth every penny on the no grief-o-meter.
Yes, it costs twice as much, but presents 5x less problems.

MG's filament are the best ABS and PLA I've used, but their color selections is not what I'm after.

One more thing about PET, you can grind/reshape it without it balling up like ABS with a die grinder.

This is just a general comment. First we look to ourselves, then to the machine and
often overlook what we're putting in the machine. Glow abs from Maker Geeks caused me
days of trouble, until ...with jimc's advice told me to try another color of filament. All was cured then.

Make sure the teeth are clean in the drive gear and the allen set is tight.

funny, many years ago when i first started painting i decided to try painting my own motorcycle. i ordered a jar of that glow powder and used it in my paint to make the paintjob glow on the bike. it was kinda cool but by the time it was dark enough to see it had fizzled out to just a very slight glow. if i had the bike out in the sun and pulled it in the garage though it was fantastic. i havent seen that stuff in years until john posted that picture.

Capt. John, are you referring to PET+ from MadeSolid? Sounds interesting and I want to order a roll to try it out, but I just wanted to make sure that's what you're talking about.

Not to speak for john but yes thats what he os talking about jin. There are 2 good pets that i know of. The pet+ and the colorfabb xt which is now avail in opaque colors. The opaques should be here in the states in a couple few weeks. Both great products and even though they are both pet they are both really different. Xt when done has more of the properties of polycarbonate. The pet+ is more flexible. You can bend it back and forth and not snap it so its vert impact resistant and strong. For the pet+ i recommend the translucents over the opaques.
