the small drill bit is .35mm and solid carbide. not that you want to drill your nozzle but good to just spin between your fingers to get rid of well....whatever. the med size silver one is 2mm which according to rick is the inside barrel dia so good for cleaning that out and the real long one is just .002" smaller which i got mainly for the solid end so you can use that to push out any residual plastic without disassembling anything. right now i occasionally use one of the allen wrenches that came with the printer. i like a little more precision than that.for just a few bucks a piece these will be nice just to have around. i hate hunting for something that will sort of work. right tool for the right job i always say. :D anyway here are the mcmaster #s

carbide bit 2841A85
2mm bit 3083A122
long 48wire size bit 3161A63

Many thanks for this. I knew I needed these kind of tools for the day my nozzle finally gets clogged, but I'd been putting it off for not knowing exactly what would work best.

no problem. when you dont have the right thing to get the job done thats when you mess things up. buy em, keep em in the drawer for that one day when you need one of them.

Nice set. I put my order in today, including two of the 0.35mm bits, since they look easily breakable in the hands of someone like me. I wish I had these a couple of weeks ago. Might have saved me from dismantling a hot end entirely.

Haha you gotta be eaaasyyyyyy. It takes a light touch. That bit is solid carbide. Just very lightly turned between you fingers.

I'd been meaning to order these, but put it off. Now I've just had my first clog, and put in my order.

What's the procedure? Can I do it with the hot end dismounted from the printed drive, or do I have to disassemble everything? Do you do the cleaning hot or cold?
