Peek tube into extruder housing assembly questions

Doing a bit of maintenance on my beloved M2 and wondering the correct way to assemble the hot end and to keep it from rotating. Have had issues with it rotating at temperature and with extruder stopping and discovered that there was residue in the brass tube. What are the SS pins for and is there a retainer that actually holds the peek tube in place, also the brass tube is supposed to go into the peek as far as it can? Thanks again for this unbelievably incredible group and an equally unbelievably incredible product.
