I have a few prints done and they're waiting to be primed and painted. My problem is, some of the pieces warped off the bed a little bit. when i stick my other pieces to those materials there are gaps left over. i need like...a putty or something to fill in these cracks, i can then smooth and sand it to blend in with the prints. does this make sense?
something like what you use for drywall holes i guess...what should i be using?
what material should i use for cracks and holes in prints?
Re: what material should i use for cracks and holes in print
Go to an automotive parts store and pick up a little package of Bondo. It's perfect for this
Alternately, smear a few applications of ABS pipe cement in there, alternating gooping the stuff in, letting it dry, sanding flat.

Interesting. Abs cement eh? I'll look into this. Cheers

Haven't tried this yet, but check out the idea of friction welding with filament in a Dremel tool: http://hackaday.com/2014/12/30/3d-print ... n-welding/

I have used Squadron Green Putty on model RR projects.
