Extrusion calibration
Re: Extrusion calibration
if its only printing one wall then the other 3 walls are thinner than your extrusion width settings. the box may not have perfect thickness walls. if you want to see if your actual extrusion matches your extrusion width setting then check the box "merge all outlines into a solid model. set the perimeters to 1, top and bottom to 0.
Re: Extrusion calibration
I found the merge all outlines setting, where is the perimeter settings? I'm pretty new to this.
Re: Extrusion calibration
In the layer tab
Re: Extrusion calibration
The easiest way is to use a solid cube model and just print without top or bottom layers and one perimeter.

Re: Extrusion calibration
Your better off using a feeler gauge though over a piece of paper though. (I think a .005 gauge is about right)

Is the feeler gauge inches or mm?
