Thanks so much (you've often helped me and many other M2 users a great deal). Your pic is appropriate. I just saw this after trying to print a black and red hedgehog by cutting the 1st spool and hand feeding the new filament. I wasn't nearly patient enough nor did I prepare well enough. I failed and googled how to do it and this came up.

Melt Banana has an album called "13 Hedgehogs". Really. I decided to try and print all their album titles and the solution for my problem comes from a Hedgehog. This math teacher is trying to calculate the odds.
Thanks for helping me out.

Joe

Isn't it weird how you frequently get hit with something in groups of three? That's happened several times to me so far this summer....like you've never heard a word before, and you look it up and then you wind up hearing it three times in a couple of days? (And it's a word that does not frequently come up in conversation.)

The word today was jellyfish. (No I didn't have to look it up, but I was playing a nonogram, and just as soon as I figured out that's what the puzzle was, a commercial for a vitamin or something with a key ingredient of "jellyfish" came on, and then my mom mentioned them in relation to a beach trip that the neighbor took.)

My mom never talks about jellyfish.

Strange. Glad I'm not the only one to notice it......Perhaps the end days are upon us........

Anyway, glad it worked the second time! :D

Does anybody make and sell this filament cutter?

Just curious why you wouldn't just print it yourself?

I thought I would point out that unless you get a special license from the creator then printing and selling that scale thingiverse part would be illegal due to the license that the creator has shared it under. Namely that you can not use it commercially. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/3.0/
I know there are people that take designs off thingiverse and sell the printed part on ebay illegally but it is rather unethical.
