How hard is it to install a second extruder?

Im a total newb but want o eventually get one for disolvable filaments for supports.
Just wondering if this is something that should only to done by very tech savy people or can most people to it without ruining their 3d printer?

They're lengthy, but easy enough to follow that anyone can do it. (You need to be able to use a screwdriver.)

Yep. Plan on spending the better part of an afternoon doing the conversion if you take your time.
