Print interruped

Post by psd » Sun May 22, 2016 9:03 pm

I was printing from my SD card and know that you can pull out your USB cable and it will print on its own, I have done this a few times already.
I was printing a part, about 80% finished, and I quit S3D and closed my MacBook before taking out the USB Cable and the printer froze.
I tried to turn it back on and resume but couldn't figure out how.

Has anyone else had this problem?
Is there a way to resume a print that got interrupted by loss of power or accidentally quitting?

Thanks

when you close your computer while still plugged in, I'm sure the computer sends out a signal on the USB to disconnect, which is a gamble on the SD print. I have done similar where i disconnected my laptop on an SD print and then came back, plugged it in and it stopped the print.

Seems that the most fool proof procedure is to just unplug the USB when you start an SD print and don't touch it again.
