How to Print a Raft as a final product?

Post by w22 » Mon Oct 03, 2016 1:07 pm

I noticed how detailed and clear the rafts print on the MakerGear M2 V4 before the actual print and I actually need to print a raft, rather than a product about 6mm high. Is there any way I can do this?

I could just print a giant raft and halt the printing process but I need the .stl file to edit.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? Do you just need a grid?

Have a look at this thread.

You can change the infill pattern to have it more like a raft but I can remember which type it is off the top of my head you'll just have to play around with the different ones in the preview window to find what you like.

Awesome, thank you for your help on this! I tried making a raft in TinkerCard and almost went cross eyed duplicating blocks and it got to a point where TinkerCard couldn't handle the amount of bars and just errored out.
