I'll update the thread when it's finished. I actually got the print job from a guy in Arizona (off of MakeXYZ) because nobody between him and me could handle a print that large...

Yeah it caught just the edge on the bed. Surprised it worked, but it's held and attached now.

Holy cow! Is that your ABS slurry? (Cause I'm shocked that's stuck on there well enough to get that high without falling over!)
Re: So, uh, the M2 prints big things
Nah that's just dilute elmers glue on bare glass. That's Ultimachine natural PLA.Jules wrote:Holy cow! Is that your ABS slurry? (Cause I'm shocked that's stuck on there well enough to get that high without falling over!)
Your ABS scraps should arrive soon... I was late mailing them out.

Chuckle - no hurry! I was just uber impressed that you got that thing to cantilever out like that!
Re: So, uh, the M2 prints big things
ABS juice on Kapton tape holds harder than Elmers glue, by the way.Jules wrote:Chuckle - no hurry! I was just uber impressed that you got that thing to cantilever out like that!

Wow, that's awesome!
Re: So, uh, the M2 prints big things
Must be the day for big prints. I am maxing out my Z height at the moment - 172+ of 180mm. Of course the 180 is based on the V3b hotend and I lost about 3-5mm when I put on the E3d. It's gonna be a close one - I am standing by with the emergency stop button.

The M2 hits 198 with the V3b.Bratag wrote:Must be the day for big prints. I am maxing out my Z height at the moment - 172+ of 180mm.
