awesome! i love seeing prints where people go the extra mile to do something with them like paint or just using it as part of a bigger project or assembly. nice work!

yeah im sure it was. if you can its always easiest to build things in individual parts just like a real gun would be, mask the areas that get glued then prime sand smooth and glue together. paint it when its all done. this way your not trying to sand out layer marks form tiny little crevices and tough areas. not to mention everything looks more real that that way. of course you have to do the modeling yourself and keep all that in mind as your designing

Yeah for sure! I modeled this. I made it in four pieces, two body pieces, handle and trigger. I sanded what I could and left texture in some areas. I thought the contrast was kind of cool.

yeah i see it on the black pieces. it actually goes with the design.
