Printing at 102% to fit the hole pattern of the substitute speakers worked perfectly.

Default settings. Medium res, .2mm layer height, .35 nozzle. Hatchbox wood.

They sound awesome. I have a set of B&W speakers (the Nautilus speakers that these are copying are B&W). Mine are DM110i studio monitors. These 3d printed speakers sound better than the real deal. Granted, they don't get nearly as loud, but at "can still have a conversation" volume everyone that has listened side-by-side prefers the sound of the 3d printed.

bro, you have a real set of nautilus? did you buy them new? those things were like $60k a pair when they came out...if i remember right.

oh wait. i read that again...i see, your are the bookshelfs. all my speakers except the sub are b&w as well. they are very nice.

Man that hatchbox wood filament is just amazing . I stock up on it every time it comes back on Amazon. Great print.

it must be really light..unless its the pics. i just thought that was white pla or natural.

The color is not quite as light as the photo. The room where the speakers are is dark so I had to use my camera flash and it washed them out a bit. The color is pleasing, but I may hit them with a light stain or something. The next time I print something in wood I'll experiment with finishes. Those speakers were (4) 14hr prints, so I don't want to mess with them before testing on something else.

Also, I made two little cylinders that are glued inside to give the wire terminals something to bite into.

i should give these a try... being a bit of an audio nut... how do they sound???
