Beer Tap Handles

Post by zucco » Sun Mar 08, 2015 9:10 am

Hello, I have been working on these RooBrew tap handles for quite a while. They are all around 9 inches tall, modeled in Maya, printed in ABS. I used cold acetone vapor to create the smooth surface. The black line was added by changing the filament color during the print using pause and resume. On the black vintage tap handle I painted blue highlights, and tried to make it look old. It was a fun project, and now I get free beer from my friends home brewing for the rest of my life.

Now that is a practical application of 3D printing if I ever saw one... [grin]

Nice work!

Great designs and finishing work! (Wish I knew a home brewer, cause that would be a spectacular gift!) :)
