Couple of prints I have been playing with recently. While not in the same class as Jim I am really happy with the way the bronzes came out. They are shown as is without any other finishing.

That looks great. For the bronze....is that clear over bronze filament or does the xtc have bronze in it?

The bronze is directly mixed into the epoxy before applying. It would appear as though some light abrasion and buffing also works to give a dull shine

What powder are you using? Did you get it from Smooth On? Have you tried any of their other pigments?

Allumilite Bronze Metallic Powder - ordered off Amazon. I havent tried any of their other powders but based on how these turned out - I will be.

The wife is excited at the costume jewelry potential (she makes her own silver etc stuff).

An interesting note. The powder is mixed into the A part of the epoxy first and become a very bright bronze color. As soon as you add the B part the powder slightly oxidizes and you get the deep brown with some parts lighter than others....very cool

The head is white while the superman bust is actually a bright lime green .

I am currently printing a superhero set in black which I think will look better on spots I may not get complete coverage. I also ordered some silver and copper powder so we will see how that looks.

How much did you add? Is there a recommended amount, or did you just eyeball it?
