Thanks... Nope just used the stain straight out of the can.

All the wood filament on the Diorama was done with General Finishes Colonial Maple Gel Wood Stain and the little wagon was just done with normal Minwax stain in Sedona Red.

The gel stain is a little messy to use on projects like this so I'd probably just stick to the normal Minwax stuff. The colors do come out a little different than if you were staining wood though. (I don't think the filament soaks up as much stain) The process is the same though... just wipe it on with a rag, leave it for a bit, and wipe it off. Not sure if leaving it on longer or more coats would change things, I'm to impatient for that. :D

Very nice work! I just got the .25 extruder today and I am printing with the Hatchbox Wood filament. Are there particular settings that you have found yield the best results when using this nozzle?
