Apple Pencil case

I saw a few of these on Thingiverse earlier this year and sneered. Then I broke off the tip on mine and had to get it replaced; who knew you shouldn't go snowboarding with it in your pocket.

Anyway, I checked out the available models, and they were over large, or press fit, or the cap retention mechanism sucked, so I decided to make my own using a thread. Modeling threads in Fusion 360 is either very easy, if you are using a standard thread, or a pain in the butt if not. This was the latter.

Looks gorgeous! Did you use any XTC on it, cause I don't see any threads! :D

No post processing. The photo is a little overexposed, but it does look nice in real life. 3D printers are good at cylinders, who knew. The seam is on the back side, but very subtle.

Very sharp! (And at the risk of sounding like your mother telling you not to "run with scissors", take the beautiful pencil case and the pencil out of your pocket before snow boarding!)

Sounds like fun. We don't get snow.
