Ninjaflex tire with PETG hub...printed as one piece

Post by scampa123 » Sun Mar 13, 2016 4:13 am

Tonight I printed this tire and hub in one piece using my dual extruder using S3D....I'm really happy with how it turned out!

This was the file I used: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:896321/#files

That's sweet! I've been thinking about a dual extruder upgrade for printing multiple materals in the same print.
I need stiffer materal in areas and flexible in others so this is probably my best solution

that came out exceptionally clean for a ninjaflex/plastic part. they are usually sloppy as all hell.

Thank you!! I used JimC's Ninjaflex settings, calibrated, in conjunction with S3D dual extrusion wizard...I was impressed it worked so well!!

I also used the prime tower... That's the block in the corner, though I'm not sure if it was needed...
