Concertina Upgrade

Post by jhaupt » Wed Jan 25, 2017 11:15 pm

These are replacement end plates for a Concertina Connection "Jackie" concertina. I posted these as examples of Hatchbox Wood PLA over in the "insta's filaments that work" thread, but my domain just changed and those links are dead, and it may not have been the best place to show off the filament anyway:

If anyone knows how to get the pictures to shrink to a reasonable size in the HTML please let me know. Also, the posting in the filament thread describes the post processing.

Sanded, stained, varnished:

Looks fantastic Justine! :D

For the photos, there's supposed to be a thumbnail thing that kicks in if the pics are too large, but yours aren't big enough to trigger it, I guess. You can try saving them at a smaller size....I use 600 X 800 pixels or so.

The thumbnail thing only works when the photos are uploaded to the forum not when they are hosted on another site as Justine's are.

Very cool work BTW... I'd swear that was real wood if I didn't know better. :D
