What firmware do i re-install?
Re: What firmware do i re-install?
Tried it, still no success

Re: What firmware do i re-install?
ok so your getting a min temp error. is the hot end up to temp? it needs to be over 170.
Re: What firmware do i re-install?
both the hot end and the heatplate are reading at 0
Re: What firmware do i re-install?
well then either your computer has not made a connection with the machine or you dont have your thermistors hooked up to the rambo correctly. even with them off at room temp they should read 20c or so.
Re: What firmware do i re-install?
i checked all connections and it seems to be connected securely onto the board. also i can move all the motors no problem so the connection to the printer is fine, the x,y, and z accesses all home without error. I will open it up once more to check again
Re: What firmware do i re-install?
make sure they are connected to the right headers on the board. if the temp is zero then its not picking up a signal from the thermistors.
Re: What firmware do i re-install?
I will post a photo of the board, let me know if it looks correct

Re: What firmware do i re-install?
I can almost make out the individual transistors in the microchips
edit: the wiring looks good, something else is wrong. Get your multimeter and check for continuity between the pins on the thermistors at the harness (basically stick staples into the harness plugs with everything unplugged and see if each one reads a resistance between the wires). You should get comparable resistance on the bed thermistor vs. hotend thermistor, and they should both be like 80k ohms.

Re: What firmware do i re-install?
I will check it whenever i get back home. i am at college at the moment. if there is no voltage what should i do? I need 3d printing to start before the end of this month for business purposes...
Re: What firmware do i re-install?
Not voltage, resistance.
If the resistance between the two thermistor wires is not in the 80-100k range, then you have a short or your thermistor is bad. Contact MakerGear support, you should be under warranty.
