Hello Guys,
I bought a used M2 3D Printer. The preowner replaced the hotend, but its the wrong one he said. My M2 has two power supplies, one 12V and the other 19V. So when he ordered, he ordered the 24V hotend, but he said he should have ordered the 12V one.Although I checked the system, on the opensoure software, the hotend got hot. It was just always a little bit under the set temperature.
What should I do now? Try if it works? Change the Powersupply for the Hotend? or upfrade the systems? What do you recommand.
Thanks alot!
Old M2 Version, broken Hotend
Re: Old M2 Version, broken Hotend
I'd run a PID autotune. A 24v cartridge will get hot enough on a 19v system, the miss is software.
Alternately, I'll trade you my 19v V3a hotend in exchange for your 24v V3b hotend.
