Hot end issues

Ok forum trying to print and nothing is coming out. Using ABS heat is up to 245 , new .50 nozzle. Feeding filament is fine. I removed nozzle and hit extract. filament comes out however it is not reaching the temp to melt it so it will go through nozzle. So I cranked up the temp to 265 and still same issue. Any suggestions why?

Possible thermistor issue? Reading high? Is the hotend actually hot?

I was just gonna suggest checking the actual nozzle. Manufacturing defects do happen.
