Windows 10 wont find printer

Windows 10 wont find printer

So I have this brand new printer, plug it in and.......I assumed it would ask for a driver as per the video but nothing. Nothing new in device manager either. Simplify3d does not see it.
Can anyone help? Surely this has been seen before?

Windows 10 does seem to have a driver built in - check your Ports section in Device Manager for a "USB Serial Device", and also check if it disappears when you unplug the printer from your computer.
