The curling up when first extruding is normal - it happens because there is a little unmelted plug of filament on the tip, that eventually melts. It can also happen if you are extruding too fast.
Limit the extrusion to 10-20 mm at a pop for a while, until that plug clears, and use the tweezers to clean the tip of the nozzle after extruding. The curling up doesn't do anything to the print, since we purge off to the side and wipe the nozzle on the bed before each print.
Z Stop Bolt - Where?
Re: Z Stop Bolt - Where?
Hit the home button to raise the bed (this is more actuate than raising it by hand till the light goes on), check the height with a feeler gauge, if it needs changing, drop the bed (jog or disable motors), unlock the nut, set (turn slightly) the bolt, lock the nut, hit home button again, check distance with a feeler gauge again, repeat if necessary.craftzero wrote:If that's the case - how the heck do you access it while the bed is raised..??sthone wrote:Here's a quick link to the User Manual the z-stop bolt is #14
