Problem with z axis

Post by Sber » Sat Aug 13, 2016 10:35 pm

I have the MakerGear M2, Im having a problem with Z axis, everytime I try to make something the extruder goes 3cm above the bed.
I saw in Simplify3d that the coordinates are 0.22 but when try to move the bed to the correct height it is -3.2 (z), Also I tried in printum and have the same problem.
I think its a hardware problem, there is any way to fix this height problem?

The problem started when i move the 3d printer to another place.. Probably de Z axis move a little in the process

Usually moving the machine does not do anything to the Z-Stop or the Starting Height setting, if you are careful. Are you sure you did not bend the Z-axis rod in any way when you moved it?
Is the bed getting stuck on a thread of filament caught in the threaded Z-rod? (Get a flashlight and an old toothbrush and see if there is anything stuck in there.)
(Can you move the bed up by hand until the bed just touches the nozzle?)

You didn't change anything else, did you?
