As a side note..... if you ever want to make basic changes to STL's (simple holes and such) use
Tinker Cad.
While it's a pretty simple basic CAD program it works great for basic operations like quick simple holes and you can stretch and skew STL's too.

I never tried TinkerCad......was struggling through using Rhino on the STLs until
extremely recently when I tried the Fusion 360 on the STEPs......
wooof! What a difference!
Are you still playing with it?

Yeah I'm still learning though... I been on a fishing lure kick lately so that was my first project in Fusion.
I'll post a picture later of how it came out in the
Fishing Lures thread when I get home from work.

When I go to the STEP file on github and click on it, it shows a txt file full of code, but I haven't figured out how to download the STEP file.

Right click on the RAW button and choose Save File As.

Thanks, that worked. Have it open in cadd and able to manipulate it. As I modify it, I'll post some pics and how it works out.
