I'm having a very weird problem. I printed a model on 3 M2s, 2 of them are Rev. D without LCD control panel and the other one is Rev. E with LCD control panel installed.
The problem is that when this Rev. E printer prints the circle of the model, it shakes as if it's printing something that's very not smooth. The print came out with a lot of "zigzags" on the circle edge. See picture below, the White one is printed on this Rev. E printer.
The weirdest point is, all 3 printers are using the SAME GCODE FILE. The estimated print time shown in Simplify3D is a little more than 3 hours (I printed 9 pcs in every run) and the 2 Rev. D printers finished the print in about the same time as estimated. However, it took almost 6 hours for this Rev. E printer to finish the job.
Below (Pink) is the model printed on one of the 2 Rev. D printers.
The file in Simplify3D looks like this:
This problem does not happen when printing the 1st layer.
For testing, I'm attaching the STL file and the GCODE file. The GCODE file is generated with a zero Z-axis offset, so you may need to use the Z-knob to adjust the printing height.
I appreciate any advice on this!

Re: Very Weird Zigzagged Circle Printing on Rev. E Machine
I'm going to guess that this is due to firmware settings for acceleration and jerk. There were changes in the settings between these 2 machines firmware.

Re: Very Weird Zigzagged Circle Printing on Rev. E Machine
Thank you! Do you have any idea which part should I change in order for this Rev. E to match the performance of the 2 Rev. Ds? In my Simplify3D settings, I have "M204 T10000" and "M201 X1200 Y800 Z500" in the starting script. Shouldn't this overwrote the firmware acceleration settings?3dPrintingMD wrote:I'm going to guess that this is due to firmware settings for acceleration and jerk.
