I printed a 20x20x10

How do I adjust the steps per mm for the z axis.
Or might there be another issue.
Z height 1 mm to high
Re: Z height 1 mm to high
The motors and the M2 itself should be well-calibrated for axis dimensions.
Z-axis dimension problems are more likely to come from adjustments of the height position and thickness of the first layer, and the height calibration of the base plate. You would probably want to check the height of something that is half or double the height, and see if that extra millimeter is proportional to the height of the object or is an additive offset on all prints. I expect you'll find that it is the latter. I would be highly surprised to find that the Z-axis is scaled wrong by a factor of 11:10.

Re: Z height 1 mm to high
Thank you for your assistance. I changed the z height to .005 " . Also the extruder was not straight.
Wow.. Great results. Everything is crisp and clear. What a difference.
I see now how important it is to pay attention to detail. Bed alignment , z- height alignment are critical...
Thanks again .
