clumps when printing

Post by robkiller » Tue Feb 10, 2015 3:35 am

So I have the maker gear m2 and I have not printed for a while. I just started to print again and my filament is not coming out in a smooth line its dropping clumps . Any ideas? I am using pla at 210 bed at 60. It comes out and raps on the nozzle and will deposits clumps alone the path it takes.

How's your first layer height?

Can you take a picture of the first layer as its printing, with how far the nozzle is off the bed?

I will try the way I set it up is I fold a paper over in two and adjust it so the paper has friction when I pull it out from between the nozzle and the bed.

Any better suggestions? I will try to take a video but I don't know how easy that will be so you can see the gap.

I am going to start a new thread on my findings and added problems. I don't think the title fits the thread anymore after my next post.
