Seems like I'm going backwards sometimes. Had decent success with ABS, then printed with nothing PET+ for a couple
of weeks. Now, my stock ABS settings in S3D are junk and don't show the results I once had.
Was using bed temp 110, 240C print temp.
If anyone has a good S3D factory file for ABS, please share it.
I know some of this is my shop's been cool and I don't have a wind break/partition around the M2 like I was using.
Need to print out a couple new stock M2 extruder drives and do not want to bother Josh at tech support.

There are a number of links to profiles in the M2 tips thread.
Re: S3D Factory File for ABS
john, what has changed? anything? is the abs a different brand or color? what are the issues your having? maybe if you post your current profile some of us can look at it to see where you are now and what can be tweaked.

Re: S3D Factory File for ABS
Makergeek extra glow ABS filament is hard to get right. Melted edges down to the bed including
the supports. Stuff I have acts like it's mislabeled PLA pretending to be ABS.
Red ABS from Makergear, lots of warping where the part lays on the bed
when I try to print a new factory extruder. 110 bed temp. 240 print temp.
Been using the basic temp/print profile for M2s off S3D and did well with these
when I started printing.

Re: S3D Factory File for ABS
Well the makergeeks glow stuff is another story. Their abs is some of the worse stuff i have used. I would imagine the glow stuff will print different than normal abs. As for your warping, that doesnt have much to do with your settings at all. Thats all in your bed, adhesive type, first layer height and the shape of the model. Abs warps plain and simple. You cant stop mother nature. I have worse warping though with my bed temp higher than 100. I keep it down at 96 for abs. Other than that i dont have much to offer. Its just the nature of the beast. The strongest bond i have found is abs slurry on kapton.
