I had a strange print fail last night. I was printing from the SD card and I had just got done printing this item it turned out great. I was printing another one and it stopped part way in in the morning I saw it had retracted the filament and the bed was down like it had run the ending code the hot end was off but the bed was still heated.
When it cooled I took the failed print off some of the glass came off with the print.
What kind of glass is this can you get this at a hardware store?
Any idea what would cause a print to fail this way?
A piece of print bed glass came off the print bed.
Re: A piece of print bed glass came off the print bed.
The description on the Makergear site is 8"x10"x3.8mm Borosilicate glass. It can be ordered from the same page that you order the printer. Looks like they are out of it, probably my fault I ordered 2 last week after I broke my glass.
Re: A piece of print bed glass came off the print bed.
I saw they were out I sent Karen a email.
Has anyone used anything else to print on? I don’t want to wait until the end of next week to print if they even have them in stock.

Flip it over and print away.

I will but the other side has a bow. In the middle.

I think, once the clips are on, they all have a measurable bow. (High in the center)markb wrote:I will but the other side has a bow. In the middle.
