I have been using my M@ for awhile with no problems until now.
I try connecting and it keeps failing. This is waht it keeps communicating...

Any ideas what I should try? I trued rebooting everything but nothing changed,

First blush: check the baud rate. Perhaps the drop-down selection for it got bumped... Try 115,200 first; then 230,400; then others. Make sure the port enumeration is assigning the right port, the USB serial port for the RAMBo board, to COM3:. Or find out where it got assigned and select that.
Assuming you're using S3D, the baud rate and port selection are on the upper left of the Machine Control Panel. Other software probably has similar selectors or values in a config file.
Might also try removing the hardware from the icon in the system tray, then plugging the USB cable into a different USB port (assuming you have another one available)...

Wow, how did you know!!! That was the problem. Now everything is back in English again!

Simple! I graduated from college before dialup modems (remember them?) had "autobaud". I could almost tell you what baud rate a modem was running just by setting a terminal to 19,200 and seeing what characters appeared on screen when I pressed the space bar. Just like I can hear the character sequences "RYRYRY" and "CQ CQ CQ" on 45 baud radioteletype without having a modem or teleprinter. Your data "looked" like the baud rate was off by a factor of 2.
BTW, you are welcome to the Teletype model 32ASR that's in my attic. You pay shipping, of course!
