Phantom Y zero-ing

I'm having a bit of an issue with my Y-axis when homing... it'll keep homing to positions well short of the actual zero, which is ending up with prints starting well off centre and going off the back of the bed if i'm not watching.

I checked that the switch functions, and it does. I also check it wasn't being partially pressed by the rail or anything that might be close to triggering it.

Any ideas?

Someone recently had a similar issue. Turned out to be an EMI issue. Contact support.

Here's the thread jin is referring to. The solution comes at the end.

Oh yes. I had forgotten the exact resolution. Try doing what MichaelH did (twist wires).

thanks guys,

I'll give that a go. Only started happening since i upgraded to 24v, given that the steppers will now be operating at a higher voltage it is conceivable that interference that wasn't a problem before is now.
