New issue:

What is correct firmware for:

M2 upgrade (24V power supply with HBP, wire harness & V3b hot end.) Purchased Jan. 28, 2014.

FWIW: I have two V3b hot ends; both measure ~ 14-16 ohms resistance. (Corrected 11:27 AM AZ Time)

Now that I read th3 resistance correctly, it's clear that I need M2Marlin24r2.

I've been gone tending to family disasters, so I need help catching up.

I moved everything from a 32 bit WIN7 laptop to 64 bit. Must have missed something.
According to the most recent instructions I can find, I did the following:

Downloaded "M2marlin24r2.zip" Unzipped it to "M2 Firmware" folder.
Downloaded "Arduino-1.6.7-windows.exe" Unzipped it to "M2 Firmware" folder

Arduino will take me to confirmation of USB/COM port, and "Arduino Mega"ADK.

File-Open takes me to the Marlin folder, but no .ino, .pde that's in an intelligible format. (I'm using Wordpad.)

I need help. I'm using S3D, V 3.0.2
I Have original M2 with full upgrade to 24V, 40A

gary, dont use 1.6.7. go on the arduino website and download the old version 1.5.5. all the versions after that cause some sort of bug which accounts for random axis shifting. as for the settings, yes choose arduino mega 2560 for the board and processor. unzip your marlin firmware folder you downloaded. goto file and open then navigate to your folder. in the folder should be another called marlin. inside that folder should be a file Marlin.ino. that is the file you want to open.

This issue has been around a long time now. Anyone know if anyone is trying to resolve this?
