New M2 owner here. I snapped some blades on the 12V 40mm extruder fan and now it is unbalanced and makes a noise. Bah!

Looking to go for an aftermarket high performance and quieter fan, but I need to know what the 2-pin connector is called.... anyone know the name (bonus points for where to get it!

newark has them. they are molex connectors. micro 3.0 version or something like that. much easier to just order from makergear.

I just cut mine off and reused it when I had to switch fans. you will want to replace both 40 mm fans at the same time so that they are the same model; they split voltage. Easiest is to just contact MakerGear and order a replacement fan.

If you really want to experiment, Noctuas are very quiet and Arrow Deltas are loud and powerful.

I am not sure about that.... one is a 12V, 40mm (the extruder), and the other is 24V, 50mm ....

I checked the Molex micro v3, but it does not look the same :(

The other 40mm fan is in the electronics enclosure at the base of the printer :) Get a slim fan, it's a tight fit inside that box.

And the DigiKey Part Numbers:
Connector (fan side, plastic part only): WM2761-ND
Remember to buy pins too: WM2781CT-ND

I got 4 connectors, 10 pins (spares of everything), was $6.50, shipped.

Any idea what the digikey part # for the hotend(heater and thermostat) connectors are?
sorry to thread hijack but this seems like a good place to ask!
