X-Axis Wobble

Post by ClothBender » Mon May 12, 2014 11:54 pm

I've noticed that the slide unit on the x-axis linear rail of my M2 has started to wobble. I was just wondering where I can get a replacement slide unit, or if there is a better way to fix this problem.

Do you ever oil that rail? I was just wondering.

The rail itself doesn't look like it's moving. What is actually doing the wobbling? The car? The mount?

From what I can tell, the car is the part that is wobbling

As jimc said, simplest place to get a replacement is MakerGear. Just figure out what needs replacing first.
