Stutters/Pauses on Circles

Any ideas on this? Sliced with Simplify3D...seems like it's printing well enough. Heard it do this once before, but it was isolated to one layer on the perimeter outline..this seems to be every circle, every layer.

As long as it is printing fine I would not worry about it. Most modeling software makes faceted circles unless you push the tolerance to the minimum and do really high resolution high polycount modeling. If you zoom into the area does it look smoothly round or slightly faceted ?

It's perfectly round; so this could be caused by too high resolution? I do tend to keep it cranked up fairly high..

Unfortunately it is affecting the prints, on the 50% layers the machine visibly pauses and stutters, which is causing blobbing and skipping (probably doesn't help that my extruder is getting a bit worn I think, I can wiggle the shaft a fair bit). Something is definitely amiss.

Your arcs are too high resolution, and the host program can't keep the printer's buffer full. Try printing from SD card, or reduce the STL resolution.

I also started experiencing this after using octoprint.
Seems the raspberry pi camera uses too much processing power for the pi.
Disabling the camera fixed my issue.

Thanks for reminding me about this - but yes, turning down the precision in the STL export seems to have fixed my problem here.
