EXT Motor no response, please help me

Post by syrockyboy » Tue May 26, 2015 8:43 pm

Hi I bought a M2 kit 2 months ago. it has been working perfectly until today. The extrusion motor doesn't drive filament to the extruder . I am using the Simplified 3D program to control the machine and all my filaments are still the original order from Makergear when I first bought the machine.

1. when i try to click on the retract/ extrude buttons the motor doesn't responde

2. I tried with the extruder on/off. no response
then I opened the Rambo box. the yellow light blinks when i click on the retract/extrude button, so I assume the Rambo received the signal

I checked the gear on the motor is not jammed or broken.

the extruder is also not clogged. I wonder what is the problem.

I am so frustrated. I hope the makergear people can help me with this.

Thanks

Make sure the extruder is up to temperature before you try to retract or extrude, or it doesn't do a thing. :)

Check your USB connections - make sure it's good, and you might want to clear your memory by restarting the computer. (If it's a large file, it's better to print those off the SD card - anything you do to your computer that changes the current status quo - like plugging in an iPhone to charge, messes up the USB connection to the machine.)
