Maker gear m2 filiment drive troublshoot

Help ,,,ok you have to gears that turn pushing filament down. The main big gear that makes contact with the filament and a small gear behind that after dis assembly . What holds the motor gear on the shaft?? Mine spins freely so my main feed gear won't turn. Worked fine for one week.

The pinion gear is supposed to be a permanent press fit on the motor shaft, but sometimes things don't work out that way.
You can (attempt to) clean the pinion & shaft, then secure the joint with red Locktite, but the best solution is a replacement motor. Contact Makergear support and explain the situation.
