I have read everything and I cant figure this out. Have a M2 and it will not connect to Octoprint, I cant see the m2 in Raspberry PI lsusb either. I am running newest version of octopi. Have had a long night of trying to figure this out. Please help. I have tried rebooting raspberry PI and rebooting M2, nothing seems to work. Everthing works great hooking it up to PC running windows 8.1.

The latest I.E. beta ? The precompiled ready to go is the easiest . Dumb question probably but I'm sure you tried rebooting the pi and your m2 ?

Thanks for the reply.

I am running Octopi 1-31-15 on a Pi. I see now there is a 7-2-15 on the mirror 2, the older ones say wheezy on them does that mean they are stable?. I am leaving for the fourth but will keep working when I get home.

I have tried rebooting everything about 10 times.

1 31 15 is the preferred stable version. I'm wondering if you got it on the SD card correctly ? Do you have a monitor and keyboard mouse hooked to the pi to see what is going on ?

Do you see an entry with 27b1:0001 in the output of lsusb? That is the RAMBo.

Are you sure you have the TTY port correct?

I do not see 27b1:0001 in the output of lsusb

Not sure what the TTY port is I only have one choice is there something I am supposed to do in the Pi before hooking up?

Have Pi running everything working except for printer, (camera and wifi)

I don't know much about Linux so any help will be appreciated.

How many serial ports do you have in the dropdown? I remember mine were usually ACM1.

Also, our firmware has us at 250000 baud, I think ... ?

I got it working!! I had the M2 plugged into my USB hub. After trying about 100 different things I decided to try plugging straight into the pi2 and it showed up in lsusb and now works just fine. Thanks all for the help. Im sure I will be back for more help.
