Hello,
I am trying to print a structure with a large flat overhang. I am having a lot of trouble getting the support material to break away from the part after the print. Here are my current settings.
Support infill percentage = 30%;
Dense support layers = 3;
Dense infill percentage = 100%;
Print support every 1 layer;
Horizontal separation = 0.30 mm;
Upper vertical separation layers = 1;
Lower vertical separation layers = 1

Here is a picture of what i'm getting.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Chuck

Chuck, the dense support layers are killing you. Youn dont need them and if you are to use them 100% is overkill. Just keep a single support angle and set the infill to 15-30% and you should be fine.

I run 70% dense, 2 layers, with 2 layers of vertical separation on 0.2mm layers. Layer layer layer.

This is for PLA though...
