How do I hook up the Viki LCD upgrade? Correctly of course.

Yeah... That goes back to my comments about the assembly instructions.

I do not have that version of the board nor that version of Viki.

Anyone from MakerGear want to weight-in on this? I was told the forum was your preferred method of contact.

What Viki do you have? Did you go order your own v2 Viki rather than the one from MakerGear? You're on your own then dude, I don't think they're compatible.

Also look at the pin names, rather than just blindly plugging into the socket on the board. You're looking for the I2C, EXT2 header, and one other set I don't remember.

The V1 Viki definitely works on all versions of RAMBo from 1.0 to 1.4 ... I should know.

Ordered it through MG man. It's a new version I'm told. I'm pretty sure I see where it plugs into the board. I just need to update my firmware. I read the wiki on doing that. Seems like something I can handle.

I can't get it to work yet with my Viki 2.0 ordered from Panucatt, but it compiles and is a start. I noticed the pins.h doesn't reflect the recommended pin settings from Panucatt, but changing them didn't help either.

The buzzer and LEDs work, but the LCD still does not.

Let me know if it works for you, and if you modified anything.

Will do. My wife and son are sick though so don't hold your breath. May be a few more days before I even see my M2.
